Process Line Operation Technician

Job Summary
To process the required batch needed by the finishing line as per planned order quantity at the right time and be able to mix a product at right quality based on master recipe or manufacturing batch sheets.

Main Responsibilities
·        Make sure that the production plan sequence is followed and the output is clearly reported in the batch sheets.

·        The quality of the product produced should be in compliance with the requirements and the results to be posted on the batch sheets.

·        Ensure that the materials used for bulk making are quality checked and is within the date of expiry.

·        Ensure that raw material usage is in line with the approved formulations and the amount of generated waste is well within the specified limit.

·        Ensure that the production and quality equipment are maintained and calibrated as and when required.

·        Make sure that all the jobs are done in a safe manner and as per the factory rules and regulations. Involve in the risk assessment and other safety studies.

·        Using of necessary PPE is a must when working with hazardous chemicals and in areas specified by the management and noted on the MSDS.

·        Promote good housekeeping in your area and ensure high standard of best hygiene practice is followed.

·        Involve in physical stock counting activities and ensure precise stock counts.

·        Make sure to request materials in advance and also to return materials once the production run is complete. Ensure only minimum required stock is available in production area.

·        Ensure contractors working in production halls premises full adherence to factory rules and regulations.

·        Will perform any assigned task given by superiors.

Requirements/ Skills
·        Must be graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineer or its equivalent.

·        Must have at least 5 years of work experience in Manufacturing Processing industry.

·        Must be able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions including safety rules, operating procedures, batch recipes and material identification.

·        Must have technical skills in operating mixing machine and solve any technical problems.

·        Must know how to use laboratory equipment, measurements, weighing scales, etc.

·        MS Office literate

·        Must have knowledge on Occupational Health and Safety standards and compliance towards their work.
