1. Maintain radio surveillance for both aviation and marine traffic in the designated area, with
specific focus on the exclusion zones around the QG offshore assets
2. Perform as focal point for both marine & aviation inbound and outbound vessels and helicopters,
by providing specific detailed information as requested by the helicopter or vessel captain, in
alignment with international maritime & aviation regulations and local requirements
3. Coordinate accommodation and shuttle transits between the main complex and other platforms
or onshore base, via either helicopter or infield support vessel, including coordinating
arrangements for Medivac Cases in consultation with the offshore Medic
4. Maintain a full record of helicopter and vessel movements, to and from the offshore facilities,
including helicopter landings, refuelling and is responsible for the creation of manifest for
departing helicopters
5. Prepares POB/ERB/ T-cards/ Muster Station and life boat list and updates as required, following
any change as a consequence of either a vessel or helicopter movement.
6. Co-ordinates with Heli-base and other installations to complete efficient scheduling of
helicopter movement involving multiple landings with multiple destinations.
7. Co-ordinates with Mat-co and Deck Foreman for Supply Vessel and other vessel movements.
8. Perform helicopter Safety Briefing, as per company policy with all arriving and departing
passengers.
9. Support platform management as per the designated role within the Offshore Incident Response
Plan (IRP) including Emergency Response Team duties. whilst undertaking various
administration tasks as per the OIM’s request
10. Take active participation in platform safety initiatives, as instructed by the Offshore OIM.
