Typical Education Skills and Experience
· Bachelor of Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering Degree from an accredited University
· Minimum 15+ years relevant experience in a professional technical capacity involving specification, design, planning and checking in an engineering consultancy or EPC company within the oil and gas industry.
· Must have worked at least 7 years as a senior engineer, supervising and guiding a team of engineers and designers.
· Experience in working on three or more of the following: DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, analyzer, F&G or metering systems.
· Experience in procurement, vendor package review, Inspection
· Must possess a thorough knowledge of industry practices, tools, codes and standards as applicable to the Instrumentation and Control discipline.
· Must be familiar with industry standard 3-D modelling packages and offer hands-on, expert user level expertise for SmartPlant Instrumentation and commonly used instrument sizing software.
