Position: Billing Officer
Responsibilities:
· Preparing & submitting revenue report to the manager as advised.
· Day to Day tallying of overall collection of Cash, Credit cards, Cheques, and Foreign Currency & Travelers Cheques with HIS
· Preparation and submission of the following reports
· Carry out routine audits of the billing system and charge sheets to ensure that billing are correct and all charges are being captured, in summary to ensure completeness of revenue.
· Responsible for taking action to update the charges posted not billed’ report at the end of every shift.
· Ensure Bill prepared is as per agreed rate, guidelines issued by insurance companies
· Identify and resolves patient’s billing complaints
Qualifications & Skills:
· 3-5 years’ Healthcare experience in a reputable organization within Billing – department, with a minimum of 2 years in an Officer position.
· Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
· Experience with billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
· Knowledge of insurance claim processing and reimbursement methodologies.
