ABENSAL LIGHTING is currently seeking for an accountant in Doha, QATAR.
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Responsibilities
Passing of all Journal Entries in ERP
Managing Petty Cash
Records all receipts, payments, managing accounts receivable & payable
Prepare pro-forma invoice, Invoices, DO upon material receipt from suppliers
Follow up balance payments against material deliveries
Prepare, apply & issue guarantee cheques against advance payments
Prepare documents for payments under Letter of Credit
Bank reconciliation, utilities expense payments, banking transactions and petty cash
Closing Entries/Adjusting Entries (month-end & year-end)
Update records for sales commissions, accrued project expenses, leave salaries and gratuity due to employees.
Renewal of Insurance such as vehicle, fire & burglary
Prepare salary sheet and process through WPS
Prepare month-end reports (P&L, BS, Cash flow)
Provide the auditors all requirements for audit
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years experience as an accountant
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Bachelor of Commerce
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Good personality / Approachable /Understanding / Friendly
Good speak, Confidence, Respect, Listening
