URGENTLY REQUIRED Environmental Officer.
Applicant must have at least 1-2 years work experience.
Applicant must be locally available (Doha).
Must have transferrable working Visa with NOC (preferably one month notice period or less)
The main purpose of this role will be to efficiently receive, process and dispatch incoming wastes to ensure it is assessed and handled in an approved manner, ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental compliance is met whilstde monstrating continuous improvement in productivity, storage bay availability and the quality of materials produced.
Responsibilities#
@ Implementation of the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS), including writing and review of associated policies and procedures.
@ Management of the audit programme of the EMS to ISO14001 standards.
@ Regular sampling and testing of all environmental monitoring points such as soil, borehole, drains, effluent discharge etc to ensure compliance with permit requirements.
@ Inspecting incoming waste loads and ensuring the security of waste entering the facility and disposal in line with environmental requirements.
