On behalf of our prestigious client, Bilal Arsalan & Co. Chartered Accountants is seeking experienced audit professionals for a three-month secondment in Qatar. Successful candidates will work directly with the client’s audit teams, contributing to high-profile external audit engagements and gaining valuable international experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct external audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Collaborate with the client’s finance teams to obtain audit evidence and documentation.
• Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Perform risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Document findings and prepare professional audit reports with recommendations.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned audit deliverables.
Qualifications:
• ACCA or CA qualified, or finalist with a strong focus on external auditing.
• Minimum of 4 years’ proven external audit experience (preferably with large or complex audits).
• Solid understanding of IFRS and relevant audit regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
