Boat Laminators and finishers

We are looking for a skilled Laminator & Finisher with experience in fiberglass and composite boat building. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in laminating, trimming, sanding, polishing, and finishing fiberglass components to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform fiberglass laminating using hand lay-up, vacuum infusion, or other composite methods.

Ensure proper mixing and application of resins, hardeners, and other materials.

Carry out trimming, sanding, grinding, and polishing of fiberglass parts.

Apply surface finishing techniques including gelcoat application, fairing, and painting preparation.

Inspect materials and finished products to meet company quality standards.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Collaborate with the production team to meet project timelines and specifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a Laminator/Finisher in the marine, automotive, or composite industry.

Strong knowledge of fiberglass lay-up, gelcoat application, and finishing techniques.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

Good attention to detail with high-quality workmanship.

Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.

Team player with good communication skills.
