We’re looking for a skilled Network Support Engineer with hands-on experience in hardware networking, CCTV installation, and configuration. The ideal candidate will support our clients by setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT hardware and surveillance systems.
B. Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems and network cameras.
Handle cabling, DVR/NVR setup, and remote monitoring configuration.
Provide on-site support for hardware and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity problems.
Coordinate with clients for installation, maintenance, and service calls.
Maintain documentation of installed systems and service records.
C. Brief Job Description:
1- Install, configure, and calibrate CCTV systems (analog and IP-based) for optimal performance.
2- Conduct regular maintenance checks, repairs, and preventive services to ensure continuous system functionality.
3- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
4- Collaborate with security and IT teams to design and implement customized surveillance solutions.
5- Perform network configurations related to IP CCTV systems and ensure connectivity.
6- Document and log service activities, including installation reports, maintenance records, and issue resolutions.
7- Ensure compliance with security, safety, and privacy protocols during installation and maintenance operations.
D. Education, Training, and Certifications Required:
1- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, communication systems, or a related field.
2- Advanced certification in cabling—UTP/FTP, fiber splicing, and termination.
3- MOI-SSD Approved Technician certification (mandatory for working in Qatar).
E. Experience and Skills:
1- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar CCTV/ELV technician or support role.
2- Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems.
3- Strong understanding of networking, IP addressing, and NVR/DVR integration.
4- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot CCTV system issues efficiently.
5- Knowledge of CCTV camera types, lens specifications, and system layouts.
6- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
7- Familiarity with various cabling and wiring standards used in security systems.
8- Good physical condition to climb ladders and work in confined or elevated spaces.
F. Additional Information:
1- Experience in Qatar or the GCC is preferred.
2- A valid Qatar driving license is an advantage.
3- Must have a transferable visa/NOC.
4- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
