Key Responsibilities:

1.     Measurement and Payment Administration

• Prepare, review, and certify Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) in line with contract provisions.
• Evaluate and quantify Variations to ensure proper valuation and documentation.

2.     Cost and Budget Control

• Monitor actual expenditure against budget to identify potential overruns.
• Assess financial impact of Asset Increase/Decrease and ensure adjustments are accurately reflected in payment.

3.     Claims and Contract Administration

• Prepare, review, and submit contractual claims （time and cost related） in accordance with the contract.
• Support negotiations and assist in dispute resolution while safeguarding the Contractor’s contractual entitlements.

4.     Team Leadership and Compliance

• Lead and mentor junior QS staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in quantity surveying activities.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, Qatari regulations, company policy and Employer’s requirements.
• Insurance and Risk Support.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management from a recognized university.
• Experience: minimum 10 year of post-qualification experience and at least 5 years on Similar project Experience. Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure, O&M, or road/asset management projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in cost estimating, BOQ preparation, and variation analysis.
• Professional Certification: Membership or chartered status with a recognized body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, AIQS) preferred.
• Language: High proficiency in English （written and spoken）; Arabic knowledge an advantage.
