Job Description:

With over 13 years of extensive experience, the Cloud Architect we are seeking will specialize in the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud. The role requires expertise in the migration and modernization of applications and data, focusing on at least one cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. The successful candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor team members. Previous experience managing a team of more than 5 App Team members is essential, where technical guidance, management, and governance were key responsibilities. An in-depth understanding of application, database, and integration component migration pathways is required.

Primary Skills:

• Conduct on-prem/public cloud infra assessments using Azure Migrate.
• Drive Azure solutioning activities for large, complex migrations.
• Architect and develop tools and solutions for integrating, automating, and orchestrating cloud operational needs.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architect, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration Teams to ensure cloud adoption adheres to standard best practices.
• Assess application performance pre and post-migration.
• Evaluate the application portfolio and inter-dependencies.
• Ensure proposed solutions cover Azure strategy, stakeholder management, and encompass Business, Application, Infrastructure, and commercial aspects (value for money, not just commercial costing, etc.).
• Understand customer infrastructure landscape, and design and build Azure Landing Zone activities.
• Provide Azure target architecture, including Bill of Materials (BoM) pricing and licensing details.
• Create Azure Target Solutions architect diagrams (incorporating all Azure services) with High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Migrate on-premise workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate.

Secondary Skills:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customer stakeholders, and project managers to understand migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly.
• Work experience across various industry domains like banking, healthcare, and insurance.
• Troubleshoot Azure and Windows environments, addressing issues related to processors, networking, clusters, IO, memory, etc.

Certifications (Good to have):

• AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
• AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator

Soft Skills:

• Prepare solution presentations.
