A growing trading and distribution company is looking for the following:
Buyer/Purchaser
· Responsible for efficient and effective implementation of purchasing and long-term supply processes to ensure un-interrupted and timely supply of products.
· Research possible item selections
· Knowledge of category management and strategic sourcing techniques.
· Ability to perform in a demanding business environment.
· Search for and negotiate contracts with suppliers and manufacturers
· Craft purchase order and inventory reports for management
· Solve supply chain problems
· Work within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders
· Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders
· Proficient in MS Office suite, especially MS Word and MS Excel applications.
· Local Hire Only, with transferrable visa and NOC
· Can start immediately
· Preferably with driver’s license
