INSTRUMENT FIELD ENGINEERS
Qualifications: Engineering Degree in Instrumentation & Control or similar discipline.
Experience: Must have more than 15 years of experience in Instrumentation Maintenance and Major Turnarounds in the Oil and Gas or Power Generation industries, with a minimum of 10 years as an Instrument Maintenance Engineer.
Nature of work:
-Provide complete Field & System side support to Operations Teams during Process upsets/trips & ensure minimal downtime.
-Review Job Plans, ITPs; Mobilize manpower; Evaluate System Loading test, C&E-Logic / Complex loop narrative checks, Performance Test, SAT / ITP Reports. Develop Gap analysis report notifying Design, Installation & Performance variations to PMC / PMT for study & rectification.
-Responsible for Monitoring, Qualitative Assessment, Tracking, Reporting of all Instrumentation & ICSS system Installation, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities of EPC Contractors.
-Root Cause Analysis of Process / Equipment Trips. Contribute sufficient inputs for developing RCA reports; Recommend necessary modifications in I&C systems for enhanced process performance and reduced process abnormalities.
-Represent department in Project/Design review meetings, Shutdown meetings, KOM, HAZOP Study. Address concerns, provide suggestions / technical feedbacks & proactively resolve issues.
-Identify inconsistencies in EPC Project designs, installations; develop gap analysis reports to PMCs/EPCs.
-Hands on experience in CMMS tool (MAXIMO).
