Procurement / Logistic Supervisor Required for a Large Plastic Factory in Qatar
Role
• Prepare and solicit request for quotation, enters quotes, makes purchase orders
• Manage and update price agreements and approved vendors list
• Participate in negotiation of contract terms and to monitor performance against contracts
• Develop and maintains a variety of logs, contract files and records pertaining to contract-related
issues
• Set & monitor inventory stock levels.
• Initiate cost reduction projects as per set goals
• Manage the import and export of raw materials and overseas orders from outside Qatar as well as the logistics & freight shipment companies
• Sound knowledge on bank documentation and procedures such as guarantees and letter of credits
Important Criteria
• At least 4 years’ experience in similar role in Qatar
• Must have a valid QID and transferable Visa
• Have Qatari driver’s license
• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or other related discipline.
