We are hiring for one of our prestigious client – Oil & Gas Operating Company in Qatar.
Control Systems Commissioning Specialist
Job location: Qatar (Onshore 60% & Offshore 40%)
Contract Duration: 3 yrs. with possible extension
Salary & Benefits: Excellent day rate with monthly living allowances
Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent with 12 years’ systems completion/commissioning experience in the oil and gas industry with exposure to a major projects environment in the oil and gas industry.
· Strong experience working in ICSS, Instrument & Controls preferably in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
· Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required.
· Oversee contractor activities during the Project, which includes all aspects of Onshore and offshore Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) and Instrumentation for Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities at project sites (onshore and offshore) located in Qatar.
· Ensure ICSS, Instrument and Control (I&C) activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
· Lead work execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Company operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
· Experience for working with Oil and Gas Operating Companies in Qatar will be an advantage.
