Role Overview:

As a Data Analyst at [School Name], you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes. Your analytical skills and expertise will enable us to optimize our educational programs, identify areas for improvement, and enhance the overall learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities:

·     Develop data dashboards using Power BI that highlight actionable insights for school leaders and that support data-driven continuous improvement cycles.

·     Build data warehouses that efficiently pull, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources for use in developing innovative metrics and interactive dashboards.

·     Create systems to improve the efficiency and quality of our dashboarding, data warehousing, and analysis work so we can put more of our resources into directly serving partners.

Required skills and qualifications

·     five or more years of experience mining data as a data analyst.

·     Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization

·     Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.

·     Strong SQL or Power BI, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools.

·     Work experience as a data analyst in education field.

·     Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.

·     Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.

Preferred skills and qualifications

·     Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, or statistics.

·     Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques.
