Seller Onboarding Specialist is responsible for developing and managing the process to onboard sellers, managing seller performance, and owning the marketplace product feed. The Seller Onboarding Specialist will optimize innovative marketplace solutions based on a clear understanding of merchandising strategies, campaign/site analysis, and competitive analysis in order to drive productive seller performance.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Key marketplace process owner and Subject Matter Expert for management of all marketplace seller initiatives
Develop and optimize new processes that contribute to successful marketplace launch and platform growth
Own configuration of marketplace platform, seller and product rules
Identify and communicate marketplace optimization opportunities
Test and optimize tactics related to customer experience & merchandise strategy on the marketplace
Continuously cultivate ideas for additional unique and engaging marketplace elements to incorporate into the business plan
Job Requirements: Education/ Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or Associates Degree with equivalent eCommerce experience
Experience: Two plus years relevant work experience in eCommerce Knowledge: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required Comprehensive understanding of eCommerce Basic skills in digital content management
Skills/ Abilities: Attention to detail and accuracy Strong written communication skills including excellent spelling Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple concurrent projects Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to resolve seller complaints and concerns Organizational and analytical skills Navigating ambiguous or newly emerging issues and setting direction
