Support involved troubleshooting and designing of manufactured systems
Assisted in the selection of equipment based on performance and availability.
Developed a new method of assessing mechanical drawings for required ventilation equipment on large projects using Excel.
Obtained knowledge of industrial and commercial heating and air conditioning equipment, energy recovery systems, and many air control products
Specified and designed HVAC systems according to customers’ needs, with emphasis on geothermal systems and energy efficiency. Proficient in all aspects of climate control and modern hydronic systems including control systems and troubleshooting procedures.
Provided direct customer support for all technical questions regarding HVAC systems, including identifying and implementing energy-saving improvements to facilities, preventative maintenance schedules, and basic troubleshooting. Analyzed existing systems to provide the most cost-effective solution for repairs or replacements.
Interacted directly with customers to ensure client requirements had been met. Provided technical expertise related to the customer’s system with a focus on customer satisfaction

HVAC Sales Engineers are responsible for the design, and sale of HVAC and process systems. Responsibilities shown on example resumes in this field include preparing and entering quotes for projects; providing accurate and timely pricing and product support to customers, outside sales personnel, distributors and reps; and providing management with monthly feedback and reports on the employees’ individual win/loss ratios and maintaining a proactive role in working to improve this ratio.
