Gardener

Job Summary:
The Gardener is responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns, plants, trees, and landscaped areas to ensure they are clean, healthy, and visually appealing. The role includes performing routine gardening tasks, operating gardening tools and equipment, and supporting the Gardening Supervisor in maintaining outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain gardens, lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and landscaped areas.

Water plants, trees, and lawns according to the established schedule.

Prune, trim, and shape trees, shrubs, and hedges.

Plant flowers, shrubs, grass, and other plants as required.

Remove weeds, fallen leaves, and garden debris to keep outdoor areas clean.

Apply fertilizers, soil conditioners, and pest control treatments as directed.

Operate and maintain gardening tools, equipment, and irrigation systems safely.

Monitor the condition of plants and report signs of disease, pests, or damage to the Gardening Supervisor.

Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines while performing gardening duties.

Assist with landscaping projects and other outdoor maintenance tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar landscaping role is preferred.

Basic knowledge of plant care, lawn maintenance, and gardening techniques.

Ability to use gardening tools and equipment safely.

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid Qatar ID (QID) with a transferable visa preferred.

Company-provided accommodation; leave-out arrangement is not allowed.
