Warehouse Manager

We are a smart-mobility provider that will be offering Qatar a new array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters. We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.

The Warehouse Manager should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

·      Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

·      Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations

·      Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization of the warehouse

·      Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

·      Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

·      Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system

·      Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results

·      Orient, coach and motivate employees

·      Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)

.       Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided by the warehouse team

QUALIFICATIONS

· Education level – degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration or equivalent

Experience:

· Proven experience of 5 years as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in transportation or logistic industries in Qatar.  (mandatory)

· Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines in Qatar.

 Specific skills:

·       Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

·       Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

·       Excellent organizational and motivational skills

·       Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·       Strong attention to details, and able to enforce processes

·       Good English language skills

·       Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent communication skills

Personal characteristics:

·       Leadership skills and ability to manage staff

·       A great attitude and ability to work well with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams (mandatory)
