Fire Fighting Engineer

Job: Fire Fighting Engineer – QCDD & UPDA approval (A/B)
Location: Qatar

Experience 8 years and above
Duties:
– Installs and troubleshoots fire protection system (Sprinkler, Fire Hose Reel, Fire Pump, FM 200 System, Mechanical ventilation, Fire Doors etc.
– Performs system testing and signal verification.
– Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
– Ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
– Must have a strong work ethic
– Must be detail-oriented
– Coordinate with Clients and ability to solve the problems
– Must have Qatar Driving License
– Must have QCDD & UPDA approval (A/B)
– Provide technical supervision at site for inspection, testing and maintenance of fire alarm system jobs by the CONTRACTOR and recommend improvement.
– Lead and manage the team for the planned maintenance and reactive work and ensure timely completion of WORK within allocated resources.
Qualifications:
– Have Good Knowledge of the fire pump testing
– Familiar for preparation of fire fighting system maintenance Reports
– Good Knowledge of NFPA and QCDD Regulations
– Good Knowledge of Fire hydrant & FM 200 SYSTEM Testing
– QCDD Certification
– Qatar driving License
– Experience in Fire Fighting system maintenance & Especially in the Qatar Gas accommodation building at Al Khor
– Fire Pump Commissioning / Trouble shooting experience.
