ICT/ ELV Engineer Jobs in Qatar
Conducting thorough reviews of relevant operational design processes.
• Demonstrating proficiency in applying standard engineering theories and practices.
• Examining specifications, data sheets, panel drawings, and other control system documents for electrical, instrument, ICT, and Telecommunications equipment, ensuring alignment with operational and maintenance requirements.
• Collaborating in the formulation of ICT work scopes, emphasizing Operations and Maintenance considerations.
• Effectively engaging and collaborating with Engineers, Departments, Providers, and O&M Service Providers, employing effective communication, influence, and challenge.
• Providing support to Service Providers in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and executing tasks related to ICT and ELV – instrumentation and control systems.
• Possessing comprehensive knowledge of Telecommunication protocols, instrumentation codes, standards, and best practices, and applying them to project requirements.
• Conducting periodic inspections to verify compliance with contract specifications.
• Reviewing and updating as-built drawings for all instrumentation-related matters.
• Proficiency in working with intelligent system protocols, Security Systems (Access and CCTV).
• Having a working knowledge of ICT systems, including firewall, switches, routers, cyber security, SCATS, SCADA, PLC systems, CCTV system, VMS, Incident response, disaster recovery, centralized operations, Parking Management systems, BMS, etc.
• Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity requirements for operational technology systems.
• Generating progress reports and conducting data analysis.
• Coordinating with contractors during system installation, supervising commissioning activities, and implementing necessary software programs and modifications.
• Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Facilities Management Software (CAFM).
• Utilizing diagnostic programs and other applicable diagnostic software and equipment.
• Managing command center activities, including technology management, issue escalation, stakeholder management, and video wall management.
