The role of the Fire Alarm Technician is to conduct the testing and maintenance of the Fire Alarm system and equipment at all facilities to ensure the fire safety of personnel, buildings, and equipment.
•Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of all fire alarm systems.
•Install and maintain all materials associated with fire alarm systems,
•Install and maintain all materials associated with security alarm systems.
•Identify faults and troubleshoot fire systems.
•Liaise with Facility Management for the supply of spare parts and check compliance with standard specifications.
•Liaise with Facility Management regarding commissioning of new equipment, review documentation and conduct necessary tests.
•Install and maintain all signs relating to safety.
