Instrument Supervisor for 6 months, extendable job, Ras Laffan, Qatar
Technical Requirements:
1. Instrumentation Materials Evaluation:
• Thorough understanding of instrumentation material specifications.
• Ability to perform technical evaluations of instrument materials efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of decoding instrumentation spare part numbers.
• Familiarity with control valve spare parts and associated documentation.
2. System and Documentation Understanding:
• Good understanding of bypass/override certificates.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams and Cause & Effect charts.
• Knowledge of trip and alarm setpoints.
• Working experience in conducting risk assessments.
• Clear understanding of control philosophies.
• Familiarity with DCS and SIS systems.
Qualification Criteria:
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering may be considered for candidates with extensive relevant experience.
Experience:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Work hours and days : 8 hours and 5 days.
Contract period : 6 months extendable
