We are seeking a Job Controller / Dispatcher to manage and track service job progress, coordinate job cards, and ensure seamless communication between technicians and service advisors. This role involves tracking work time, managing parts orders, processing credit notes, and ensuring efficient workshop operations. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of automotive service workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Coordination & Tracking:
– Monitor and track job cards, updating service advisors with real-time job status.
– Ensure accurate time punching (in/out) for technicians and maintain service records.
Parts Management & Ordering:
– Process and track parts requests for franchise vehicles.
– Order parts for non-franchise vehicles as per service requirements.
– Accurately enter and update parts inventory in the system.
Administrative & Financial Processing:
– Create and process Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for required parts and services.
– Generate and manage credit notes as per company policies.
Workshop Efficiency & Compliance:
– Ensure job assignments align with technician availability and skills.
– Maintain accurate records of service work, parts usage, and job completion times.
– Adhere to dealership and manufacturer guidelines for service and parts operations.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 3 years of related- experience in automotive dealership
– Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree any related education
– Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
– Knowledge of automotive parts ordering and workshop operations.
– Proficiency in dealership management software.
– Effective communication and coordination abilities.
