Responsibilities:
– Develop and update procedures for shipping, customs, and goods packing.
– Contribute to technical enquiry packages for shipping and customs services.
– Collaborate with various departments for effective planning of shipping and customs activities.
– Review and analyze transportation scopes for optimal logistics solutions.
– Utilize SAP for efficient management and timely updates.
– Monitor shipment status and ensure compliance with customs rules and regulations.
– Provide valuable feedback on performance using Saipem’s software.
Requirements:
– Understanding of staff, business support, business activities, compliance, and governance.
– Knowledge of customs legislation, international transport procedures, and relevant regulations.
– Familiarity with marine and aircraft transport operations, including regulations for “out of gauge” cargo and dangerous goods.
– Understanding of port activities, stevedores, port charges, and related documentation.
– Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes and post-order processes for goods.
– Expertise in technical bid evaluation and formulation of the best strategies for transport execution.
– Familiarity with Chartering and Shipping Terms, INCOTERMS, and budget monitoring.
