Job Title: Piping Supervisor
Must have experience in Qatar
Location: Ras Laffan
Responsibilities:
Supervise and approve construction activities, coordinating various project aspects, including inspections, material submissions, and working drawings.
Implement standardized construction work processes, procedures, manuals, and systems, ensuring control for each construction activity.
Organize, coordinate, and supervise construction activities according to schedules, monitoring and reviewing progress to complete work on time and within budget.
Resolve difficulties and problems in discussion with contractor representatives and Construction Superintendent.
Coordinate piping fabrication and assembly for successful project completion.
Raise and apply permits as per Qatargas procedures, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Assist with inspection of received material and equipment and preventive maintenance of stored equipment.
Manage all aspects of Mechanical Construction activities, including site investigations, surveys, and deliverable completion.
Ensure adherence to Qatargas/International standards, schedule, and fabrication sequence.
Supervise fabrication and assembly activities, review WPS/PQR/WQT documents, and inspect test packs and NDE procedures related to fabrication and field welding works.
Monitor daily shop activity and progress, maintaining high-quality standards and safety practices.
Participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, daily jobsite walks, and maintain meticulous records.
Prepare reports and forecasts related to fabrication progress and job manpower forecasts.
Monitor subcontractor activities for compliance with specifications, safety, quality, productivity, schedule, and cost.
Provide solutions to subcontractor problems for successful project execution.
Implement fabrication work processes, project procedures, and instructions within assigned operations.
Control, preserve, and issue material handed over to subcontractors for the intended purpose.
Ensure optimum performance from allocated subcontractor and vendor personnel.
Coordinate with client and construction personnel to address and implement client requirements consistently with contractual requirements.
Requirements:
Must have experience in execution of Piping Fabrication, Erection & Installation.
Experience in the oil & gas or related industry.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Monday to Saturday (6 days), 10-hour workday.
