We are seeking a Procurement Officer / Goods Receiver to join our team and play a key role in ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and goods receiving for our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in F&B procurement, supplier coordination, and stock management to maintain quality standards and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
-Procurement & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of food and beverage items.
-Goods Receiving & Quality Control: Inspect all incoming stock, verify quality, and ensure compliance with order specifications.
-Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate reordering as needed.
-Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor pricing, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
-Documentation & Compliance: Maintain records of invoices, receipts, and supplier agreements while ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
-Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and operations team to align procurement with menu requirements and operational needs.
Requirements:
🔹 Previous experience in F&B procurement, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
🔹 Strong knowledge of food safety standards and storage regulations.
🔹 Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage cost-effective purchasing.
🔹 Detail-oriented with strong inventory and record-keeping skills.
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software is a plus.
🔹 Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
