Production Coordinator – Wood Services
Location: Industrial Area, Doha – Qatar
Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the production workflow for woodwork and joinery projects. This role ensures smooth operations from project handover to fabrication, assembly, and delivery while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
*** Coordinate daily production activities and ensure timely execution according to project timelines.
*** Review project drawings and specifications to plan material needs, manpower allocation, and production schedules.
*** Liaise with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure all required information, materials, and approvals are available.
*** Track production progress and address any delays or issues affecting output or quality.
*** Assist in preparing cutting lists, job cards, and work orders for the production team.
*** Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, hardware, and consumables; coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
*** Ensure that health, safety, and quality standards are maintained in the workshop and production areas.
*** Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
*** Support logistics and delivery coordination for finished goods to the project sites.
*** Facilitate communication between factory teams, project managers, and other departments to maintain workflow continuity.
Qualifications and Skills:
*** Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Wood Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
*** 2–5 years of experience in production coordination within a woodwork, joinery, or furniture manufacturing environment.
*** Good understanding of wood fabrication processes, machinery, and joinery techniques.
*** Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
*** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*** Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
*** Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems or production management software is an advantage.
