Prudent Engineering
Prudent is looking for an Electrical Engineer with excellent knowledge of Electricity Distribution and Transmission products. You will be responsible for aligning with suitable global manufacturers for initiating new product approvals with Kahramaa and also carrying forward the product approvals, which are under process. You should be able to understand and critically evaluate standard product specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify products in the Electricity Distribution & Transmission domain, which offers market scope; build relationship with suitable manufacturers and initiate product approvals in Qatar.
Identify Tender/ RFQ opportunities, Understand the tender/ RFQ requirements and prepare Technical and Commercial Proposals, in line with the SOW.
Develop relationship with Operating Companies, manufactures, Consultants and suppliers/vendors for industrial electrical equipment.
Building relationship with key Technical personnel of client and Co-ordinate with them for various electrical technical matters.
Understand equipment specifications (prior knowledge of utility specifications will be added advantage)
Identify new opportunities and keep track of market developments.
Focus on sale of fast-moving electrical equipment.
Assist with material inspection at Client’s premises.
Prepare weekly and monthly status reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
6-8 years of relevant experience.
Good knowledge of Electricity Distribution and Transmission products.
Ability to understand and critically evaluate Product specifications.
Strong team player attitude.
Excellent oral & written English.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Must have ability to take quick decisions.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Qatar Driving License will be an added advantage.
