Assistant Producer job vacancy in Qatar Media Corporation

Assistant Producer – Core responsibilities:-

Support production staff with the coordination, creation, scheduling and distribution of all assigned projects.

Assist with general administrative duties including schedules, screening tapes, finding still images, etc.

Screen, log, transcribe and clip footage for projects.

Assist in securing shooting releases for studios and locations

Log and archive video and associated data for future use

Assist with logging and screening of field footage for the series to prepare for the post.

Prep media for post-production or content

Ensure all video and graphic assets are coordinated and filed for use in the post.

Research and disseminate ideas for project-related topics and elements.

Assist with travel and lodging arrangement for crews and talent as needed.

Skills

Excellent communication and organization skills.

Must be highly organized, able to multi-task efficiently and proactively coordinates the demanding workload of the production team.

Be able to troubleshoot any production difficulties or problems

Act decisively under pressure

Be aware of relevant health and safety laws and procedure

Knowledge

Fluency in English

Expansive knowledge of local and regional current affairs, history and news marks

Some experience in television or a post-production environment.

Basic editing experience is a plus.

Experience

At least 3 years in a TV production environment

Education

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Media and journalism communication or related field.
