The QHSE Manager will be instrumental in enhancing safety management systems, developing safety training, and guiding competency development with a specific focus on human factors. Responsibilities include managing QHSE requirements for existing contracts and steering the organization towards a generative safety culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Enhance safety management systems and develop training programs emphasizing human factors and safety culture.
2. Manage QHSE requirements for current contracts, ensuring adherence to safety practices and regulatory compliance.
3. Analyze and report on weekly/monthly onshore/offshore safety statistics, engaging in discussions with clients to enhance safety measures.
4. Issue regular safety alerts and provide guidance to senior management on safety management system enhancements.
5. Monitor and align QHSE documentation with prevailing ISO standards for quality and safety.
6. Conduct internal and external audits, oversee actions until closure, and disseminate lessons learned.
7. Maintain comprehensive records of all incidents, ensuring thorough investigations, corrective actions, and knowledge sharing.
8. Coordinate with clients to implement QHSE best practices effectively.
9. Develop and audit training and competency syllabuses to ensure their efficacy and compliance.
10. Conduct site visits to verify adherence to management systems and promote a secure work environment.
11. Manage all HSE-related documentation, records, and company certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.
– Relevant certifications in QHSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor).
– Demonstrated experience in QHSE management within the Painting & Blasting industry, emphasizing safety culture development.
– Proficiency in ISO standards and experience in maintaining company certifications.
– Strong analytical skills for evaluating safety statistics and devising effective solutions.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, management, and onsite personnel.
– Willingness to travel offshore, conduct site visits, and engage directly with operational teams.
– Leadership abilities to drive change and influence safety culture organization-wide.
