The Inbound Sales Manager will be responsible for driving inbound sales revenue, developing and nurturing client relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals. This role requires a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster strategic partnerships in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive inbound sales revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, client segments, and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
  • Represent the company in workshops and events, as and when required.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop a sound working relationship with the tourism board to maximize business.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, negotiating contracts, providing tailored solutions and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing clients. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and business reviews to maintain and enhance relationships.

Team Leadership and Performance Management:

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to drive sales excellence.
  • Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development opportunities for the team.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Develop sales forecasts including pipeline management, revenue forecasts, and sales performance metrics. Track performance against targets, and report sales results to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas of improvement, optimize sales strategies, and increase sales effectiveness.

Customer Service and Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey.
  • Monitor customer feedback, address complaints, and implement corrective actions to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and quality assurance processes in all sales-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in inbound sales, preferably in the travel industry, with a focus on destination management.
  • Strong sales acumen and a track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strategic thinking and business development skills, with the ability to identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal). Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
