We are hiring General Manager for a Facilities Management company in Qatar,
Duties and Responsibilities
– The overall management of one of Qatar’s leading FM companies
– Ensuring that the business continues to deliver platinum levels of service to all its clients
– A thorough and demonstrable knowledge of developing, managing and monitoring strategic plans for a business
– A thorough and demonstrable knowledge of developing, managing and monitoring budgets
– Development and implementation of business marketing plans
– Planning, coordinating and managing all business operations to achieve corporate goals.
– Evaluating current business processes and systems
– Overseeing staff training and development programs and ensuring that this aligns with the strategic needs of the business
– Assisting line managers with hiring, training and managing the performance of each employee
– Improving internal processes and ensuring employees work as a cohesive unit
– Reviewing periodic reports and adjusting operations to better meet company goals
– Conducting periodic employee appraisals
Qualifications and Experience
– A minimum of a 3 year degree/ diploma is a pre-requisite
– Preferably an engineering, financial or project management degree, in addition
– Preferably a degree or diploma in business management
– A minimum of 10 years’ experience in project or facilities management, with at least 3 years as a general manager or project director level
– Understanding of current Qatari building, health and safety regulations
– A thorough understanding of FM markets and their workings in general, and
– Ideally, at least 5 years of similar experience within the Qatar or Middle East FM markets
