We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of our plant, focusing on production, maintenance, and logistical efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving safety, quality, and productivity within the Plant & Equipment or Automobile Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence: Lead and manage day-to-day plant operations, ensuring all production and manufacturing activities meet or exceed client expectations.
Efficiency & Quality: Increase production capacity and flexibility while minimizing costs, and maintaining high standards of quality.
Maintenance Oversight: Supervise weekly and monthly machinery inspections, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources to maximize plant efficiency and output.
Strategic Leadership: Implement strategies that align with company objectives, providing clear direction to the team.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce the company’s HSE plan, ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to, and maintenance protocols are followed.
Logistics Management: Oversee logistics and transportation operations, particularly in construction and oil & gas sectors.
Team Leadership: Manage, develop, and mentor plant staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Innovation & Training: Introduce new technologies and processes to improve plant operations, providing training to technicians as needed.
Budget Management: Monitor and control budgets related to the utilization and performance of vehicles/equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role within the GCC, preferably in the Plant & Equipment or Automobile industry.
Education: Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
Technical Skills: Strong machinery, equipment maintenance, and logistics operations knowledge.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, focusing on safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Communication: Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of managing both internal teams and external client relationships.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify areas of waste and implement corrective actions.
Compliance: Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements, with experience in ISO compliance.
Innovation: Ability to drive continuous improvement and introduce innovative solutions to enhance productivity.
