JOB: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
LOCATION: QATAR
Responsibilities:
1) Perform month-end close for responsible entity ensuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness and compliance with corporate policy.
2) Develop an understanding of key components of the business to ensure correct accounting and reporting is followed.
3) Participate in periodic business review meetings to discuss financial performance, operational and financial KPIs.
Education and experience keen to see:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required with focus in Accounting or Finance or related field
• 3+ years operations management in the field of accounting and finance
• Experience providing financial support to a multi-location or multi-site business required
• Experience providing financial support and analyses to management
• Solid understanding of accounting and budgeting
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools and various accounting systems
