Senior Claims Manager vacancy in Qatar
Responsibilities
- Respond to claim requirements quickly, completely, and appropriately providing accurate status updates.
- Recognize better servicing opportunities and suggest process improvements for achieving a robust bottom line.
- Monitor work processing using standard tracking methods, ensuring attention to timeliness, productivity, and quality to handle the claims efficiently and effectively.
- Perform services to team members in processing claims, including maintaining adequate reserves mainly of classes- Fire, Engineering, Energy, Marine Cargo, Marine Hull, Miscellaneous, Motor trade, Liability, Workmen Compensation, TPL, etc., using established procedures.
- Work closely with other departments, offices, and branches for business requirements.
- Oversee claim management, including large losses.
- Periodic review of claims, regular monitoring of disposal of claims & ageing of claims.
- Mentoring, supervising and guiding team members.
- Regular interactions with Loss Adjusters, Brokers, Clients and Reinsurers and other relevant entities for business needs
- Work closely with the Head of Non-Motor Claims and serve as the critical contact whilst ensuring adherence to the company’s relevant policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in engineering.
- A diploma or master’s degree in Risk & Insurance Management is a plus.
- Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) from Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) preferably.
- Fluency in English (read, write, and communicating)
- Experience of 12 years p experience in Insurance claims with at least 5 years in managerial position.
