The Senior Contract Administrator is required to join our team to handle multiple tasks, as Project based. The primary objective of this job is to safeguard the Company’s interests in all aspects of contracts management and to support the Project Management team throughout the contract management lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Administration of the Main Contract and Major Subcontract Agreements.
• Draft Subcontract Agreement, subject to the Company’s Standard Templates Exposure to Claims preparation and assessment processes.
• Drafting of contractual correspondence.
• Manage record-keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
• Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to assist them understand their contract requirements.
• Ensure that all deliverables required under the contract are adequately submitted in a timely manner.
• Initiate reviews, amendments, and addenda as and when required.
• Ability to prepare / review payments applications.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ensure efficient communication with all stakeholders.
• Observe the project risk register and implement efficient risk controls measures.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of contracts systems, processes, and practices.
Education and Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 – 10 years’ experience in contracts management of multi-function mega projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering field.
• Commercial experience is an advantage.
• Roads and Infrastructure experience is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills is mandatory.
• Experience with Government entities in the State of Qatar is an advantage.
• Experience of working in teamwork environment
• Keeps up to date with current contract legislation.
Must have valid QID and NOC.
