Senior Hr Manager
ONLY FOR 3-6 MONTHS
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead, manage, plan, and direct the entire Human Resources function to ensure high-quality service delivery.
– Develop and implement clear HR policies and ensure policy awareness throughout the organization.
– Align HR strategies, annual business plans, budgets, and procedures with the company’s overall business strategy.
– Ensure effective and efficient HR processes, maintaining high operating standards.
– Ensure compliance with government regulations and labor laws.
– Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, integrity, and control within the HR Department.
– Manage the HR Department’s budgets and provide regular progress reports to the Chief Corporate Services Officer.
– Formulate and implement policies and guidelines for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with government ministries and officials.
– Stay updated on legal requirements and government reporting regulations related to HR functions, ensuring compliance.
– Collaborate with the CEO to enhance staff communication culture and ensure awareness of HR objectives, policies, and procedures.
– Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
– Develop and implement an annual review process for manpower requirements in each department.
– Assist in developing an internal communication plan and provide advisory support to divisions and departments.
– Support the periodic review and development of competitive compensation and grading scales.
– Understand the company’s resourcing requirements and contribute to the development of effective manpower and recruitment systems.
– Review and approve Job Descriptions prepared by Department Heads.
– Implement a competitive compensation and benefits structure aligned with the company’s Job Grading Structure.
– Conduct performance and wage reviews and oversee the annual incentive/bonus schemes.
– Assist in addressing employee complaints and grievances, ensuring prompt and fair resolution in accordance with company policy and labor law.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/HR, preferably with an MBA and specialization in Human Resources.
– Professional HR certification such as GPHR/SPHR/PHR/CIPD is preferable.
– Around 12-15 years of related experience, with at least 4-5 years in a senior HR role in Qatar.
– Experience in turnaround and change management. (This is highly required for the role)
– Experience in the construction, hospitality, or real estate industries is preferred.
– Proficiency in educating and coaching staff.
– Strong conflict resolution skills and experience in disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
– Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and local labor laws in Qatar.
