We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Storage and Backup Engineer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise storage and backup technologies. The ideal candidate must have worked with Tier 1 OEM partners such as HPE Platinum, Dell Titanium, or equivalent, and should have a proven track record of designing, deploying, and managing enterprise storage and backup environments across large-scale infrastructures.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise storage and backup systems.
Proven experience working with Tier 1 partners like HPE Platinum, Dell Titanium, or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with storage arrays such as HPE 3PAR/Primera/Nimble, Dell EMC Unity/PowerMax/Isilon.
Strong knowledge of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, RAID, snapshots, and replication technologies.
Expertise in backup solutions like Commvault, Veeam, Veritas, or IBM Spectrum Protect.
Solid understanding of virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and integration with backup/storage.
Working knowledge of cloud storage integration (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
Professional certifications (e.g., HPE ASE/Master ASE, Dell EMC Proven Professional, Veeam VMCE) preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in managing large-scale data centre storage environments.
Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation tasks.
ITIL or similar process framework knowledge is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
