Waseela Integrated Telecommunications Solutions is seeking a Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Qatar. This role is a great opportunity for motivated professionals with strong technical and leadership skills to contribute to cutting-edge ICT, IBS, and ELV projects.
🔹 Responsibilities
As a Site Engineer, you will:
Oversee day-to-day site activities related to IBS, ICT, and ELV system installation.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and local standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams for seamless system integration.
Conduct inspections and quality checks for materials and installations.
Review shop drawings, BOQ, and material submittals.
Ensure proper installation of:
IBS (Passive & Active DAS)
Structured Cabling (Fiber, Copper)
CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, BMS, Fire Alarm & other ELV systems
Troubleshoot technical issues and support during testing & commissioning.
Participate in FAT, SAT, and handover documentation.
Attend site/project meetings and coordinate with consultants, main contractors & stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, identify risks/delays, and report accordingly.
Maintain site documentation (checklists, test results, daily reports).
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with TIA/EIA, ISO, NFPA standards.
Prepare cost estimates, organize materials, and ensure site cleanliness.
Provide technical advice, improvement suggestions, and vendor/subcontractor monitoring.
Approve technical drawings & plans, manage schedules, delegate tasks, and conduct training sessions.
Complete quality assurance checks and provide feedback to the team.
🔹 Job Specifications
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Network Engineering.
Preferred certifications (not mandatory): BICSI, PMP, CCNA, or manufacturer-specific ELV/IBS certifications.
Candidate must be located in Qatar
Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with industry rules, regulations, and performance standards.
Strong project management and supervision skills.
Proven decision-making ability and leadership skills.
