Sr. Welding Engineer
·        Local & Overseas Requirement (Oil & Gas)
·        Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar
·        Job Type: 6-month contract
·        Certification Required: IWE – International Welding Engineer
·        Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years in a similar domain
Job Requirements:
·        Must hold a valid IWE (International Welding Engineer) certification
·        Strong background in welding processes within the oil & gas sector
·        Analyze tender documents and identify welding procedures and qualifications needed.
·        Support procurement with specifications and technical resolutions for welding.
·        Select welding processes and prepare WPS matrix as per BOM and project specs.
·        Qualify WPS and welders/operators per standards. Maintain records: WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
·        Resolve welding issues and implement solutions. Train the welding team and promote best practices.
