We are currently looking for Sustainability Coordinator for our top level football league client in Qatar (10 months contract):
Responsibilities:
– Work with the organization’s management to develop a mechanism and implement the sustainability program for sports activities in line with the overall sustainability strategy of the organization
– Assist in defining and achieving the organization’s sustainability goals, tracking performance metrics, and evaluating program effectiveness
– Work with the Foundation to develop a sustainability plan for sports activities in the clubs affiliated with the Foundation
Supervising internal training programs for clubs and providing guidance and support for their implementation
– Develop and maintain the section on sustainability on the Foundation’s website to include information highlighting the sustainability measures taken by the Foundation and related programs
– Track trends and developments in the field of sustainability to identify areas for improvement and help monitor new initiatives and suggest best practices and legislation to management
Qualifications:
– Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or any related field.
– 3-5 years of experience in the field of sustainability and environmental programs in the field of sports.
– Knowledge of developing, maintaining, and/or managing sustainability-based initiatives, operations, or programs that includes collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data.
