The Al-Attiyah Foundation


The incumbent, reporting the Director of Marketing & Communications, will assist in managing the Foundation’s PR, brand, and marketing initiatives. He/she will make use of market research and analysis to; help develop marketing strategy and planning, deploy successful marketing campaigns from initiation to execution, oversee the production of all promotional materials, develop content, and report on marketing results.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Strategy & Administration:

Assist with the strategy and planning for all marketing and branding activities.
Assist with preparing the annual marketing plan & budget.
Source quotes, develop purchase orders, and manage delivery and invoices.

 

Digital Marketing:

Manage the update of the Foundation website (events, articles, news, static content and members section).
Project manage all website updates to the front and back end with web developer/designer support (Design/Structure/CMS).
Disseminate all Foundation information and publications through Mail Chimp.
Develop and continue to update mail distribution templates.
Manage Social Media & YouTube:
Develop content strategy and schedule.
In charge of video & graphic development. (Including script writing & basic editing).
Management of social media platform & advertising.
Manage the Foundation’s YouTube Channel (Uploads, content, comments)

 

Content Development & Control:

Draft press releases and write website content.
Proofread and review the design and layout of all Foundation content.

 

Event Management:

Consult and advise on venue and administration related matters.
Manage photographers, presentations, and equipment.
Assist the Project Manager with onsite management & briefings.
Prepare and disseminate all marketing collaterals required.
Prepare, install, and dismantle all promotional banners/roll ups required.

 

Design and Production:

Manage the print production of all Foundation publications and collaterals.
Manage the design of all Foundation publications and collaterals.

 

Member Relations:

Manage member relations including periodic meeting with members.
Deliver annual membership value reports.
Review and update the membership packages including pricing and fees.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

The incumbent must:

Hold a university degree with a major in marketing communications, or a master’s in business administration (MBA) is required. Likely to have at least 5-7 years’ experience.
Be a native first language English speaking with exceptional writing skills.
Have exceptional skills in Microsoft office suite, and the ability to develop graphics and videos with easy-to-use software like canva and imovie.
Have some understanding of the Oil, Gas and Sustainability markets and industry.
Be able to engage with a wide range of external experts, speakers and members.
Have the ability to convey complex concepts and ideas to non-specialist and/or senior audiences.
Have the ability to work under pressure in order to continuously develop high quality outputs.
Be able to exercise diplomacy and good judgement in representing the Foundation positively to external audiences.
Be able to work well in a culturally diverse team.
