Job responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API.
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
Lead a team and perform code review.
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Supervise, manage and motivate team members on a daily basis.
Ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.

Required qualifications

5+ years of experience developing Apps for the Android platform.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Understanding of Android’s design principles and interface guidelines.
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Experience in chat applications, preferred XMPP based development.
Up-to-date with the latest Android trends, techniques, and technologies.
Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor․
Excellent communication and leadership skills․
Strong organizational skills and time-management skills․
Decision-making skills․
