Job Title: Finance Operations Enhancement Specialist
Location: Doha, Qatar
Position Type: Contract (Yearly Renewable)
About the Role:
As a Finance Operations Enhancement Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our digitization and process enhancement initiatives. Your expertise will help streamline financial operations, including IFRS 16 (Leases), Inventory, Accounts Payable (AP), Travel & Expense (T&E), and Payroll. This role is crucial for planning, implementing, and documenting improvements, as well as developing effective controls and matrices.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Process Analysis & Enhancement: Analyze and improve financial processes across various domains using ORACLE ERP.
🔹 Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, manage lease operations, handle Travel & Expense activities, and be the go-to person for AP queries.
🔹 Financial Reporting & Closing: Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
🔹 Contract Management: Assess and ensure accurate accounting for new and existing contracts.
🔹 Compliance & Control: Maintain compliance with tax laws, IFRS 16 standards, and company policies.
🔹 Reporting & Analysis: Design and maintain comprehensive financial reports and analyses.
Ideal Candidate:
Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally within a telecom environment.
Strong technical skills with deep knowledge of IFRS 16.
Proficiency in ORACLE ERP and advanced Excel.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
