Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Automation Engineer with a strong background in Siemens PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and TIA (Totally Integrated Automation) Portal. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation systems that enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity within our operations.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement PLC programs using TIA Portal for various automation applications.
Configure and integrate SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze automation requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of PLC/SCADA systems to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning of automation projects.
Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PLC/SCADA technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
Proven experience (5 to 7 years) in PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and TIA Portal development.
Strong proficiency in Siemens PLC platforms (S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-400/S7-400H/S7-400F/FH & above ) and Siemens HMI/SCADA software.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP.
Experience in integrating PLC/SCADA systems with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
