Position: Senior Architecture Engineer (Grade A)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Job Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design, Interior Design, Team Leadership, Design Research, and Client Interface.
- Preparation of architectural drawings (DC1/DC2) and follow-up with authorities until obtaining final approvals/building permits.
- Coordination with other disciplines (Structural, MEP, ID, etc.).
- Preparation of detailed interior design drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Development of high-resolution 3D renderings of proposals.
Site visits for as-built drawings and project progress reviews to ensure compliance with client objectives. - Supervision of site works, including fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordination with Authorities and leading the assigned team on a daily basis to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Preparation of Fire & Life Safety drawings in coordination with other disciplines. - Mentoring and providing guidance to junior staff.
Review and approval of material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements. - Monitoring project schedules, civil works, and preparing progress reports.
- Verification of completed works for issuing Completion Certificates.
- Careful coordination of tasks across multiple projects to meet submission deadlines.
- Responding to tender queries and contractors’ requests and developing tender documentation (BOQ, specifications, etc.).
Performing other senior-level duties as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architecture Engineering
• Grade A UPDA/MMUP certification (mandatory)
• QCDD certification (preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design, authority approvals & project coordination in Qatar
• Strong knowledge of building codes, municipality procedures, and approval workflows
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ready to join immediately with an available NOC
