IMAR Trading & Contracting
We are seeking experienced Estimation Engineers with infrastructure project experience. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and tender documentation in compliance with local authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, Pumping Stations, etc.)
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
Prepare and review BOQs, cost breakdowns, and rate analysis
Analyze tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
Coordinate with engineering, planning, and procurement teams
Assist in tender submissions, clarifications, and negotiations
Review historical cost data and maintain estimation databases
Ensure compliance with Qatar standards, Ashghal/MMUP requirements
Candidate Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Electrical/ Mechanical/ ICA Engineering / Quantity Surveying or related field.
-5–10+ years of experience as an Estimation Engineer
-Proven experience in infrastructure projects in Qatar
-Strong knowledge of Qatar market rates and local suppliers
-Proficiency in Candy software, Excel, and take-off tools
Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Ashghal projects
Previous employment with major infrastructure contractors
MMUP/UPDA certification (preferred)
