The Counter Staff is responsible for assisting customers at the service counter, handling inquiries, processing orders, issuing invoices and receipts, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a professional and customer-focused approach.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Greet customers and assist them with their inquiries and requirements.

Process customer orders, sales transactions, and payments accurately.

Prepare quotations, invoices, receipts, and other related documents.

Provide information about products, services, pricing, and availability.

Coordinate with the warehouse and other departments regarding customer orders.

Handle customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.

Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.

Ensure the counter area is clean, organized, and presentable.

Assist in stock monitoring and reporting shortages when required.

Follow company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.

 

Qualifications:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, or a similar role is preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Experience in spare parts, automotive, retail, or trading industries.

Knowledge of inventory or ERP systems is an advantage.
